The Damage Committed by Major CO2 Polluters
With eye-catching graphics and descriptive captions, the poster series highlights how the general public attempts to eliminate or commit to bettering the environment by cleaning up after significant CO2 polluters.
The white silhouette of primary CO2 polluters is enhanced by the attractive colors used in the background of the poster series. Throughout the series, I valued a simplistic design, slogan, and descriptive caption to highlight the importance of the damage committed to our environment and health by the aviation industry, deforestation, and fossil fuels. The silhouettes show a private jet plane, a tree trunk, and fossil fuels, all contributing to our environmental and health decline. Clearing forests for land use is capable of causing fires, while fossil fuels heavily affect our air quality. Lastly, flying private jets is a luxury that omits large amounts of pollution. There are attempts by the general public to clean up after these polluters by enforcing sustainable practices and environmentally friendly customs.
